A Look Back at 2023
Phew! Somehow, it’s already 2024!
2023 flew by – it was a busy and exciting year at DON’T NOD both in the development of new original creations and in our role as publisher, with 3 game releases and 2 announcements!
So let’s take a look back at what we did.
It was a year rich in stories! First up, in May we released Liva’s Story on Steam and Nintendo Switch, a Gerda: A Flame in Winter DLC developed by Bird Island. You play as Liva – the Sparrow – after she and her small group of Resistance members are forced to flee Copenhagen and retreat to the small village of Tinglev.
Harmony: The Fall of Reverie
After Harmony: The Fall of Reverie was announced at the Nintendo Direct, it was released in June 2023 on PC, Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It is a narrative-driven game where you travel between worlds and meet gods, the Aspirations: Glory, Bliss, Power, Chaos, Bond, and Truth. You play as Polly who comes home to find her missing mother and discovers a megacorporation named MK is using its power to control the population, and her community is in danger.
Jusant
At the Xbox Games Showcase we announced Jusant, which was released in October on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 to critical acclaim. Jusant is an action-puzzle climbing game where you climb to the very top of a tall tower that stretches beyond the clouds to see what lies there. You’re joined by a cute companion whose connection to the tower helps you ascend and unravel the tower’s secrets.
Announcements – Lost Records: Bloom & Rage and Koira
We announced Studio Tolima’s Koira in the summer and our very own Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, which was revealed exclusively at The Game Awards! We can’t wait to share more about both games, releasing in 2025 and 2024 respectively. Be sure to wishlist both games and follow us on X (Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok to be the first to hear news and updates.
We also celebrated 10 years of Remember Me and our 15th birthday as a studio. We couldn’t have made it this far without the unwavering support of our community so thank you. Here’s to a brilliant 2024 and another 15 years! Speaking of 2024…
What’s to come in 2024
