Design a Poster or Sticker to Feature in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage!
Your Design, Our Game
Calling all artists and creatives! We’re hosting a contest where YOUR design could feature in OUR game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. The development team themselves will go through your submissions and pick their favorite to be placed somewhere in-game. So, let’s get right down to the exciting stuff!
You have 3 options for submission:
Option 1: design a poster for a fictional 90s Riot Grrl or Rock/Goth/Metal/Grunge etc. band.
What we’re looking for: a poster that reflects the aesthetic and vibes of the riot grrl movement or genre of music you choose. Think of visual elements typical to the 90s and these genres.
Option 2: Design a poster for a fictional 90s film.
What we’re looking for: a poster for a fictional film released during the 90s, including visuals that are emblematic of your chosen film genre within the era.
Option 3: Design a sticker that could be found in a 90s punk or skateboarding magazine.
What we’re looking for: a sticker that really reflect the edgy, vibrant, and rebellious spirit of the 90s alternative scene and skateboarding/punk culture. We’re thinking bold graphics, striking colors, and again iconic elements from the time e.g. the raw, DIY aesthetic of the 90s.
Now onto the obligatory stuff!
Submission Rules
You can read all the rules and terms & conditions here but below is the TL;DR version.
Originality: ALL artworks MUST be original and made only by you. No licensed work, no other artists’ work, and no AI or computer-assisted generation. Participants must guarantee their work is original. Any work found not to be original will be disqualified.
Suitability: Designs must be appropriate for all audiences and contain no offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content.
Developers’ Use: By submitting a design, participants give DON’T NOD the right to use their artwork in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage and in related promotional materials without compensation. Developers also reserve the right to make minor modifications to any submissions to ensure that the visual can be coherently integrated into the game.
Submission: All artwork must be submitted through email (click on the button below). Please send a file under 10MB in PNG or JPEG format.
Submitting Your Design
Source Files: Participants must be ready and willing to provide their source files e.g. PSD if they are selected.
This will allow the development team to make any necessary minor modifications to ensure narrative cohesion and visual consistency in the game. If you don’t have a program like Photoshop for example, and you can’t provide the source file, then a second version of the poster/sticker, without a title or any text, can be submitted so the developers can insert the text themselves.
File Size and Format:
Visuals
If you use Photoshop or similar software, a minimum resolution of 300 DPI and a print-compatible format is preferred! If you do not use Photoshop-like software, visuals should be in PNG or JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
File Naming: To ensure that all submissions are organized and identifiable, you must follow this naming convention for your entry:
ContestName_Username_CreationTitle
- ContestName: Use the name of the contest you are participating in. This contest’s name is SummerArtContest.
- Username: Use your username or the name you used when subscribing to participate.

- Ensure there are no spaces in the file name; use underscores (_) instead.
