From the ISS, ESA Astronaut Sophie Adenot sends us a very special message

Our collaboration with the European Space Agency goes far beyond Earth!

To mark the recent release of Aphelion, we offered astronaut Sophie Adenot the game’s mission patch, which we sent directly to her aboard the ISS!

This gave her the opportunity to send us a very special message in return: science and video games share the same story.

A story of exploration and hope, where scientists, engineers, artists, gamers, dreamers, everyone can turn imagination into action. 

From young Sophie Adenot, who witnessed Claudie Haigneré become the first French astronaut to go into space, to Ariane Montclair, woman astrobiologist exploring Persephone to save humanity, hope fuels every story, whether real or fictional.

Aphelion’s mission patch, HOPE-01—designed in collaboration with ESA—will be included as a sticker in the PS5 retail edition, which is now available for pre-order and will be released later this summer!
